The company develops cloud-based, state-of-the-art software applications in various areas - IoT/ IIoT, energy management & trading, predictive maintenance.

The Role

Responsibilities

  • You will collaborate with technical and business stakeholders to transform requirements into robust cloud-based solutions.
  • You will be involved in designing and implementing modern architectures that prioritise scalability, reliability, security, and maintainability.
  • You will work extensively with serverless and event-driven technologies, including components such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, SNS, Systems Manager, and other core AWS services.
  • You will also play a key role in developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitLab, enabling automated deployments and integrating quality assurance, testing, and security controls throughout the software delivery lifecycle. This is a hands-on engineering role where daily development activities in Python, designing and maintaining secure APIs and system integrations.

Must-haves

  • The ideal candidate should have strong hands-on experience with AWS cloud development, particularly working with services such as AWS Lambda, API Gateway, EventBridge, SNS, and AWS Systems Manager. They should have a solid software engineering background and be actively involved in coding, with strong proficiency in Python as well as Shell or PowerShell scripting.
  • Candidates must have experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines, preferably using GitLab, and should be familiar with integrating automated testing, deployment, and security controls into the software delivery process. Strong experience designing, developing, and maintaining RESTful APIs is essential, including securing APIs and integrating them with internal and external systems.

Nice-to-haves

  • Experience with security-focused platforms and compliance initiatives.
  • Experience supporting infrastructure management through AWS Systems Manager.
  • Exposure to the energy, utilities, or critical infrastructure sector.
